Walking around the streets of Hogsmeade was becoming sadly depressing. Nothing ever seemed to change. Then again, it was more than obvious that nothing would. The Order was sadly sitting around and waiting for something else to happen. Why her parents were so laid back, along with so many others in the Order, Rose could not understand. She hated simply sitting around. Besides, she also could not stand hearing her parents lecture her every time she tried to go anywhere Death Eaters might be present. She was not a baby anymore, and she could take care of herself!
So Rose had decided to come to Diagon Alley. Probably not a good thing to do. Of course she was allowed in. However, whenever the redhead attempted visiting the area, things never turned out as she wanted them. But she did try to stay out of trouble. She was an Auror, after all. Alright, so maybe becoming an Auror was not the best idea right now. After all, Death Eaters were in control of the Ministry. It was dangerous. Still, it had always been her dream, and nothing was going to stop her from accomplishing it. She just had to be careful. And in a way, Rose liked living on the edge at times. It really proved to be an adventure. She also wanted to somehow watch over the wizarding world. What way could be better than being so close to your enemy?
Staring up at the large building, she smiled. There was a reason for her appearing in such a precarious place. After all, though she loved messing around, she was not about to simply pop in just for a visit. Or she had to at least make up one...- Smiling softly to herself, she sighed. Rose really did miss that world, one with Hogwarts, classes, and her friends...- Being around Hogsmeade and Hogwarts now only made her depressed. So it was only natural that she would not want to see it in such a state; to her, it was as if her parents and the Order had given up. Rose could not stand sitting around, waiting for something that might never come.
"Eh. Thinking too hard again." She mumbled softly to herself, grinning at her thoughts. Rose was more than positive that she fell with the Resistance. The members of the group had the same feelings, and they understood how she felt. Walking up to the familiar building, she pushed the doors. This would be her excuse: she needed to get some money out of Gringotts. Of course it was not fully an excuse.
Looking around the large room, she smiled. At least the goblins were still here. In truth, ever since she was little, she had adored them. Then again, Rose liked all of the magical creatures. Well, save for spiders. She hated all shapes, sizes, and forms of the creatures...- With the thought of spiders in her mind, Rose let a shiver escape as she raised a hand to place it on her forehead. I hate those things! She mentally yelled, finally smiling. Once again looking around, she tried to spot someone familiar, though she was unsure if anyone she knew would even be here. It was doubtful.

In truth, as she was looking randomly around the bank, Rose did not instantly notice her cousin. Continuing to walk, she softly mumbled to herself. Being alone was not something she adored doing. And the fact that she was in Diagon Alley did not make things better. But it would not hurt to enjoy herself. Staring at the various goblins, she smiled. Even if the rest of the area felt different, distant, and changed, at least this moment felt normal. She took a few more steps forward. Her objective was to speak to one of the more familiar goblins, of which she always talked to. Rose had met the goblin at a very young age. The meeting was obviously due to her mother, who had needed to discuss some matter or another. And she simply got into the habit of talking to the goblin every time she visited.
However, her encounter was put on hold as someone ran into her. Stepping back a few steps to balance herself, a surprised look plastered upon her face, she blinked a couple of times. Before looking to see who the person was, she scratched the back of her head embarrassingly and smiled. "So-" She Started, finally looking at the other involved in the situation. Another confused look appeared on her face as she noticed it was her cousin. Even so, hearing the rude remark, she arched an eyebrow. It was not as if the occurrence was entirely out of the ordinary. It was just that seeing Eva was not completely common, either. Not that she did not like seeing her cousin. Well, maybe not in such a manner...- Rose still could not help but smile, even with the previous words. After all, it was apparent that her cousin had not known it to be her.
"Thats alright..." She said enthusiastically, waving her hands. Stopping, she pointed at her cousins unusual hair. Or at least it was for her, anyway. It was a sight to see her with the said shade. Raising a hand to tap her chin, though, she questioned it. It did not look bad on her. Why the woman was so persistent with keeping it blonde, she did not know. Of course Eva looked beautiful with blonde hair too. Grinning mischievously, however, she crossed her hands behind her back. No way could she pass a moment like this up. "So, how have things been...Red?" Giving her cousin a question, hinted with a new nickname, she smiled. She was not trying to be rude or inconsiderate. But Rose was trying to lighten the mood. And maybe she could not help but joke about it...-
Rose watched Eva move her arms. The act was normal for her. Then again, so randomly was a tad odd. Following the movement, a sparkle of light caught her eyes. For about the millionth time that day, a bewildered look broke through the previous joke face. "E.." Rose could only state the first letter of her cousin's name. This was...so...- Various words could fit into the sentence; weird, curious, interesting, amazing, exciting. Moving her hands from behind her back, she could not remove the curious look from her face. "Well, apparently you have been up to a lot more than I have heard about." It was ironic that she had questioned Eva a moment before. "Are you...really getting married, Eva?" Rose spoke the latter sentence with a hint of excitement. All thoughts of the run in had been forgotten.

let a smile of amusement grace her angry features. When she heard the name 'red' her eye twitched, literally. "Don't call me red, Rose, bad idea." Eva said, in an almost growl. She was almost glad that luck was on her side and almost expressed it. Acting nonchalant she shrugged her shoulder's in reference to the ring on her finger. "About a week and a half now. I'm trying to tell as many people as possible at different times, just so that I can have backup with I face the parents. Let's just say that only Evey knew about my relationship, and I planned to keep it that way until it got more serious; I honestly didn't expect it to go this far," Eva admitted. She ran a hand through her slowly changing blonde hair and turned back to her cousin. "You wanna go for a walk while I calm down over the bloody goblins?" [/ul]

Rose closed her eyes, smiling, though twitching slightly. She had known that her cousin would take it badly. However, she had never expected the slight growl. Laughing softly, she stared at her again. Alright, with anyone else, she would have continued the joke. In fact, she probably would have denied the other's comment, saying that it suited her. But Rose knew better than to start it up again. It was not that she was afraid of her cousin. Even so, she did not want to get into a random argument. She hated fighting with family. "Eh. I guess not..." She whispered softly, agreeing to not mention it again. "Not that I understand your dislike of the shade. It looks good on you, you know." Rose spoke the last two sentences very silently, not even sure if she should mention them aloud. Still, if she could not joke about it, she had to say something. Just standing there would make her nervous.
"Really?!" She nearly screamed, though instantly reminding herself to keep her voice down. She was not a child anymore, after all. And if she wanted anyone else to believe her about being an adult, she would have to act like one. Simply being of age was not good enough. But Rose did begin to smile brightly. A few years ago, she probably would have jumped up and down, giggling or something. And, in truth, she could see herself doing it now. Hearing about telling her parents, though, Rose's blood immediately ran cold. She could easily understand why the other had not mentioned it to them yet. Hell, her parents would probably murder her if she did something so random. And, from what she knew about her Aunt and Uncle, she only guessed that they would ask millions of questions. Yeah. It was better not to tell them without backup...- "Well, I guess I can understand why you wouldn't want to tell them straightforward." She said, rubbing the back of her head. "Still, he is a nice guy, right? I'm sure that they will love him..."
Tilting her head to look at the goblins, she smiled. If her reason for coming had been true, she would have had to say no to Eva. However, as it was only a lie to visit Diagon Alley, Rose looked back to her cousin. Grinning, she nodded. "Sure." It was more than apparent that Eva needed a moment to get away from everything. Turning towards the door, she gave a curious, yet happy, look. "Where to?"

Eva did not seem too startled by her words. Then again, when had her cousin ever truly seemed surprised by something she said? For as long as she had known Eva, or rather as long as she could remember, Rose always found the other to be serious and straightforward. Of course that was never a bad thing. She only found it difficult to understand her. And sometimes the thought did worry her slightly, as it was hard to get close to her. Even so, she trusted her cousin enough to take care of herself. After all, in some ways, Eva was more grown up than herself. Hearing her cousin's reply, she smiled. She thought that she could sense something different within her voice. However, it was covered up very well; that was one of Eva's many strong points. "I still back myself up on my words." She said happily, crossing her arms. "Of course blond looks good on you too, so either way you win." Rose gave a childish thumbs up, still grinning slightly.
Rose easily laughed at Eva's comments on her parents. Thinking about it, she easily pictured it from her Aunt and Uncle. They really were protective...- On the other hand, all parents were that way. Her father was also one to bother her about issues involving the male race. Ron simply, for some unknown reason to her, never wanted to hear anything about his little girl being with some man. But that was usually where his questions ceased. Well, most of the time. Her mother was normally the one to question everything else. So, in a sense, she could understand her cousin's worries. Fathers stood in separate worlds, it seemed. And, when tempted, they were very dangerous creatures. Luckily dad hasn't ever had to give me away. She thought, mentally envisioning the idea. I wouldn't doubt for him to attack the guy at the last moment...Probably during the vows, too. Personally Rose could see it. However, upon Eva's sarcasm, she pulled herself away from such thoughts. Still laughing softly, she coughed, stopping suddenly. "Well, I can't lie. I could see your dad doing something like that...- But...he is your dad, so I am sure he wouldn't hurt him too bad." Rose held back a giggle. "Still, if you need me, I'll be sure to pin him down for you...- Or at least...I'll try. You know, to give you two a head start." That would be a sight. In truth, she doubted that she could hold her Uncle for long, if at all. Of course that would not stop her from trying. Besides, the statement was mainly meant as a joke. Not that she would not help her cousin. She would just have to find another way to be useful.
Jumping back in time, she did remember the two twin boys. The images were still slightly faded, as she did not completely remember them. But Rose did remember her cousin hanging around the two. They always seemed to have so much fun...- "Being married to your best friend sounds nice." Rose said calmly, smiling. Of course she was curious about the fact that Evelyn did not like the boy. She did not know the sister's story behind it, though, so she did not question it. And Eva already seemed slightly unnerved about her sister's previous actions, almost mentioning something to their father. "I'm sure that she just worries about you." Rose tapped a finger against her jaw. "You two are twins, right?" The question was obviously a joke. Rose knew her two cousins were twins. To think anything else could force others to easily claim her as mental. I mean, she had lived with such knowledge for various years. Simply losing something so carved into your mind was never a good thing. But, in her own way, she was trying to alleviate the situation.
"Eh. Well...lets see." Rose passed through the door, smiling as her cousin said the next sentence rather loudly. Apparently something had happened back in the bank. Well, it had obviously been apparent before, as Eva had desired to leave. However, now she was even more curious about the subject. But she tried to act as if nothing had happened. She would not nag her about it. If Eva wanted to tell her about it, she would eventually. Raising a hand, she had all fingers up. "The Leaky Cauldron," Rose used her second hand to push one finger down. "Quidditch Supplies, Ice Cream, ..." She pushed other fingers with each name. Stopping, she smiled. "How about some ice cream from Florean's? It can be my treat."

Bringing herself out of the daydream she looked at her cousin and let a grin shine through. "I'm just glad I took the first step; have I thanked you enough for telling me to do that anyways?" Another one of those moments. Eva heard the joke and smirked for a moment before playing along. Pretending to think she said, "Well... I think so. Mum and Dad have mentioned us being twins multiple times but it's not clicking in my head. I'm not the brightest bulb you know." She let a small laugh leave her lips, a true laugh; something rarely heard. Hearing the request Eva added at the end, "You know ice cream sounds fabulous. It's not all your treat either. I can pay for myself you know." An afterthought had realised that the two had really talked about Rose, mostly about Eva. "How inconsiderate of me!" Here Eva paused in her over dramatic acting to overdramatically hand placed on her heart as if in a huge shock, "I haven't even bothered to ask about your life. You must tell me how you've been doing!" Keeping up the overdramatic friends reuniting facade up she let out she was messing around through the smile in her eyes. [/ul] ooc;; Whoo! Post! I hope you don't mind the flashback in it, I would've done more conversation but I'm lacking the creative juices to think that much attempt to make Rose sound Rose-y? xD
