Who says you can't go home There's only one place they call me one of their own Just a hometown boy, born a Rolling Stone Who says you can't go home Who says you can't go back, been all around the world and as a matter of fact There's only one place left I want to go Albus was wandering around Hogsmeade. He was finally back home and he was glad to be back. As he walked he wondered how many people knew that he was back and if they would even recognize him when they saw him. He figured that they would, at least his family. His dark hair was shorter and he was clean shaven, but he still pretty much looked the same. When he left, he'd been seventeen, two weeks out of Hogwarts. He'd been a wild and crazy kid that thought he knew it all. He'd grown up since then. He was now twenty one years old and knew that his life just began and he didn't know as much as he thought he did. He'd been taught lessons while he was gone and there were times that he wanted to return, but he had stuck it out. He supposed that a part of him wouldn't let him return. He wanted to prove that he could survive on his own and he was convinced that he had done that.
He stopped walking and looked around, wandering where he should go. He thought about going in for a drink, but decided against that. Albus sighed and continued walking. While he'd been gone, he'd written letters home. They didn't say much; just telling them that he was alive and well. He had always signed the letters Al, never Albus. Everyone he met on his travels called him Al and that was what he got used to being called. Signing the name Al became natural to him and he never thought about it.
He walked into a park without realizing it until he had walked into the pole of a swingset. He shook his head, grinning a little, glad nobody was around to see that or at least he didn't think anybody was. He sat on a swing and started swinging slowly. He'd hang out here for a bit, then maybe he'd go and try to find someone that he knew. He saw someone walking towards him and he stopped swinging and watched them, waiting for them to come into focus.

Rose was walking she needed air, plus work hardly was busy at the moment, she though maybe she should not be coped up. But today she was thinking of what happened in her past more just she liked remembering life different. It wasn’t that the laws bugged her just, she missed everything. She even tired to stop thinking about the good times, it was sad some of the memories. But sometimes you had to block them out it was easier. She knew well that fighting would do something but still if she didn’t pick a side she be safer. But she wasn’t going to be coward not much was safe and she knew now. Growing up was just a stage which changed you, just by opening your eyes. Which was never a good thing but you got used to it as everyone else did.
As she reached the park, she saw only other person in there a male, but didn’t bother to worry about him. Sure he could be trouble and she didn’t want trouble. But that was her she hated having to have to fight but, still she did it. They groups for blood purity had done too much for Rose to stop and step back. She knew to be smart about it, she couldn’t be court but still part of her wanted to. Since when did she have to step back? She wouldn’t let others control her she was a women now, and that meant she had her rights. Walking more into the park looking closer at the male, just since he couldn’t be that bad he would have attacked by now. He looked like a cousin of hers, Albus she swore it was him but he left. There was only one way to be sure, looking closer at the male. Walking to the swings and taken a seat on one close to the male. This was more to let him talk to her first.

Who says you can't go home There's only one place they call me one of their own Just a hometown boy, born a Rolling Stone Who says you can't go home Who says you can't go back, been all around the world and as a matter of fact There's only one place left I want to go The red hair was the first thing he noticed of her. He knew quite a few people with red hair. Thier names ended in either Weasley or Potter. Actually, the girl he was engaged to in America had red hair and for a minute, he remembered thier first meeting. He purposely ran into her, so they could meet. He had knocked her off her feet and she broke a heel. But they laughed about it and soon, were talking in a restaurant. Then his mind sort of fastforwarded and he remembered catching her with another man. Albus had been so hurt. He hadn't been with anyone since her, but he was ready to move on. He just needed to find the right girl.
He shook himself out of memories and watched the girl come closer. She had to be a Weasley. He was sure he would remember his sisters if he saw them, though he should've recognized his cousins as well. When she sat down on a swing near his, he twirled his swing to get a better view of her. He gaver her a sweet smile and said, "Red hair... you must be a Weasley." His voice sounded so different to him. He hadn't noticed it until now. To him, it sounded more American. Well, he had spent a good part of his travels there. It was only natural that it would change his voice a bit. "And if you are a Weasley, I'm guessing you are the lovely Rose."
Albus hoped he was right. He didn't want to get his own family screwed up now, if she was a Weasley. He was sure she was because she looked so much like one: red hair and freckles. She looked liked his uncle Ron. That was why he guessed her as Rose. "I apologize if I'm wrong. It's been years since I saw them last, but you do look like her." He decided that it was best to shut his mouth right then. He probably said too much. He turned back, so he was facing front and started swinging again.

Eva said politely. Her Slytherin attitude had calmed down enough to where she would tolerate her family a whole lot more than when in school, being scorned for her house by some didn't help her situation either. Realizing that another person was there that she didn't speak to, or realize if she even knew the person, she turned to them and 'smiled' politely, ironically a trick she had learned to master from Albus. "Hello. You must-" stopping midsentence was usually something she wouldn't do but upon seeing her closest brother, her and her parents should recognize him, but she probably saw him the most, and not just frequently, especially by her later years. Smirking and leaning against the swingset pole, Eva nonchalantely said, "Well, well, well. Look who decided to come back. Tell me, Al what has brought you back to your family?" Emphasis on the 'Al' part would only really show that she read his letters, and was a bit angry on his abrupt leave and vague letters; well come on, he was one of the closest people to her, only fifth after her clique and Evey, but within the family, he was second. He just left without any real explanation why, which she was determined to find out.[/ul]

Rose saw the male remember who she was, and it must have been Albus, “Al it’s been a while” Rose added I wasn’t rude but also the fact who knows what happened to her cousin all them years. Sure he seemed the same but as normal she couldn’t help but mistrust him, she had been through allot and hardly changed but she never was one to trust easily. But still that was her; she couldn’t help but be this way. It was one of those things she did a lot. Her family she was close to just, sometimes it was easier to keep close if they stayed in contact as much. This was the case with her cousin Albus, since he did leave, five years and that even made her seem slightly wondering why he was back. Sure she would miss her cousin just sometimes it was easier not knowing everything.
When Rose saw another of her cousin’s turn up, Rose nodded. “Eve hey” Rose added politely, not like she was going to be rude for no reason was it. Not that Rose blamed people for houses even a sister of hers was in Slytherin which she got used to. Not saying her father took it well, even to this day she never saw him in a worse mood. She knew how she over reacted was something that you knew who she was related to from. But did watch the tow siblings “Guys I don’t think this tension is good” Rose added truthfully not trying to get in the fight if her cousins did.

Who says you can't go home There's only one place they call me one of their own Just a hometown boy, born a Rolling Stone Who says you can't go home Who says you can't go back, been all around the world and as a matter of fact There's only one place left I want to go Albus was waiting for Rose to say something when another person joined them. Naturally, Albus recognized her instantly. She was his sister, probably one that he was the closest too, since they were both Slytherins. He grinned when she recognized him and he got up from his swing and hugged her. "I missed you! Really I did!" he said, happily. "I missed everyone! How is everyone?"
He let go of Eva and stepped back. He looked between the two and couldn't help but wonder what had happened while he was gone. When Rose mentioned the tension not being good, he knew it was his fault. He should've known better than to think that he could return after all these years and be accepted back like he'd never left. "And it's my fault." He paused. "I wasn't expecting to be gone so long and things happened that made me want to return."
He sat back on the swing, thinking if he should tell them about his ex-fiancee. That was a secret that he hadn't planned on telling anyone. He wanted to forget about it. He wanted to make it like he didn't know that she even existed. "You want to know a secret? I was engaged to an American, but it didn't last long because I caught her cheating on me." He sighed, knowing that wasn't going to change anything and in fact, that may make things worse because he hadn't told them about it in a letter. "I'm sorry I left like a did. I was young and wanted to get out. I'm also sorry that the letters were vague, but I am back now, for good. I'm not going to turn my back on my family again." he smiled. "Now, about Al, that's what everyone I met on my travels called me and I got used to it. You don't have to call me that."

before her brother launched in his short story. Deciding to see how much he changed in five years she mentioned, "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. It seems that you seem to be becoming less and less Slytherin. What happened to the brother who mentored me all through Hogwarts, well before his escapade." Returning to her leaned position on the swing set, after being released, the blonde rolled her eyes at her brother and cousin's exchange on the tension. Hearing a semi similar situation between herself and her brother, Eva let out a laugh before lowering it down to a chuckle. "I find it funny just about the semi similar situation between the two of us." Shaking her head, her blonde head going everywhere, she looked at her brother, giving him a look that she hoped he would remember as a look they gave each other when it was a story for later in a more private situation. Deciding to address his name shortage before his delayed return, she said, "Al. I don't think that suits you as much as Albus, or even Severus. Al seems too happy go lucky for my tastes." Hearing the turning back on his family part she realized she needed to address it then. "Nice timing on the return I must say. However, it would've been a lot better timing if you were able to help me with my situation with Evey a few days ago; yet it would've been better if you never left." Her eyes flashed a little bit dangerously and her hair went a shade redder, subtle but noticeable. He has always been the closest male to her, even above one other, and she did not take well to his abrupt departure. "So I could use your excuse with why I disappeared for about a week, which got me into an actual fight with Evey, might I add, though mine was a little more... romantic than yours. Yet your disappearance would lack the knowledge some others know." Her eyes flashed once more to let him know that's a story for later.[/ul]
