GOALS & DREAMS:
To graduate Hogwarts and secure a successful, respectable career (past)
To find a woman worthy of marriage to a Malfoy (present)
To please his father (past & present)
To quash the rebellion (present)
To someday become Minister (present--more of an idea than a goal, really)
General Acceptance (always)
FEARS:
Not having control; Acid pops; Failure; Having an ugly spouse; His father's disappointment; Embarassment;
STRENGTHS: He has a very scientific mind; that is, he's able to easily decipher how things work, and it's applicable to objects as well as people. He has a knack for finding what makes you "tick," and can use it to his advantage (but that's encoded in the Malfoy genes presumably). Being the youngest male in the family taught him how to vie for attention and do so successfully--he stands out in a crowd as someone with great charisma and strength --SOMETIMES (he's a superb actor)--. He's calculating, not impulsive, and incredibly meticulous. If something is done by Scorpius, it is done properly.
WEAKNESSES: The visade of obnoxiously relentless egotism. Anxiety, though it's a private problem. He's not very charming. Being a "superb actor," he's got an incredibly dark and insecure side that he does not show the world--Not his friends, not his family--And worries often that he may not have everyone fooled.
PERSONALITY: Just adding on to the strengths and weaknesses, these are traits I couldn't categorize into one or the other, his shades of gray if you will:
Scorpius is, in essence, a loner. I don't mean this in the conventional sense of the word, because he is actually considerably extroverted and involved. What I do mean--He doesn't attach himself to anything. People, places, things. What's important to him today could easily be forgotten tomorrow, which makes him extremely adaptable, potentially reclusive and a bit hallow. His family drives him to be an image of success, but if something catastrophic were to happen to tarnish that, he wouldn't have a problem leaving everything behind and starting life anew elsewhere (If only the wizarding community didn't make it such a small world). Sometimes he even considers it, but considering and doing are two entirely different things; that, and his father has kept him rooted thus far.

WAND: Rowan, Dragon's Heartstring, 11'', quite rigid.
PATRONUS: Scorpion. Very original, I know.
BOGGART: Some or another form of humilation, thus far it has varried between public nudity, the essence of failure, or his own father curling his lip in disgust at his disgrace.
MIRROR OF ERISED: Himself at a prime of excellence, surrounded by various adoring witches and wizards.
SPECIAL: Very successfully established Occlumens. You'd have to be, if you had as many personal secrets as Scorpius.

HOMETOWN: English Countryside? Malfoy Manor? Wiltshire? *continues to peruse Malfoy apps shamelessly.*
HISTORY: Scorpius was born into all of the wealth and security that a bouncing baby boy could ask for, beneath four siblings that echoed this prestige even in their youth. He was the first to be born without a twin, and this singularity was reflected in his mannerisms even as a young child. He never took a best friend, was horrible at sharing and liked his alone time very much. However he felt all at once special and left out, but whatever ill feelings he felt towards being "twinless" were blanched by the fact that he was his father's favorite son. Imagine the pressure of being favored by Draco Malfoy, a blessing and a curse. The pressure taught him to mask any true emotion with calmness, confidence and slight cockiness--A brew true to his name. His mother always seemed disappointed or at best disinterested in him though, whether she saw through him or was merely jealous of Draco's attention, Scorpius isn't sure to this day.
In school he was, naturally, sorted into Slytherin (After spending the entire first half of the ceremony privately fretting that he might get Ravenclaw instead). He excelled in all subjects albeit the ones that he considered a waste of time (care of magical creatures and anything to do with history), but he showed the most aptitude in Potions. Scorpius managed to balance his social life and school quite well, however he never did play quidditch, and his father will probably never forgive him for it. After all, who are you in Hogwarts if not a quidditch player?
Apparantly you can be somebody, for Scorpius got along fine on manipulation and "charisma" alone. He had his own circle of like-minded friends and admirers, a couple girlfriends throughout his years, but could never shake the feeling that all of them were indespensable. He cares most about acceptance, even being admired, but in his days in Hogwarts he found he was more annoyed than anything else by this level of commradarie. He felt he was destined for something of much more importance, and being a Malfoy, he managed to acheive just that.
Once he graduated Hogwarts, his O.W.Ls and N.E.W.Ts managed to secure him a job in the ministry as an unspeakable. The mystery of Scorpius's work intrigued him, the secrecy excited him, and the feeling of importance was of course an excellent bonus. Working with untapped areas of magic, pushing the limits of wizardry--It's basically what he was made for. What exactly is his specialty on level nine? Potions, of course...Anything more detailed than that is his business.
With the rise of the rebellion, Scorpius saw a way to take on a position of leadership in shaping the resistance with his siblings, a way to be powerful and important. Not to mention, there's no way he'd just stand by and watch his foes destroy everything he worked so hard to be a part of. He knows it could really jeopardize his beloved career, but the end always justifies the means...And besides, he's good at keeping secrets, remember?

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: ((it's from an old Twilight RP, I hope that's alright))
Aro waited patiently in what was easily the most lavish room in the house--His own. This of course should not be a surprise; in all of his undaunted years on this ever-changing earth, Aro never lost his passion and appreciation for the finer things in life. As expenses gradually became matters of trivial importance, Aro surrounded himself with more elegant necessities and pricey trinkets than a king in his prime. Though, perhaps that's precisely what Aro was: A King in his prime. Aro the Sun King, XIV Bonaparte the Great. Well, certainly no one could argue that conjecture. Who else in the castle of Volterra plated their ceilings in gold foil? Not to mention the gallant, golden archway that framed his door, complete with a massive, ruby-studded Fleur de Lise--Certainly ostentatious enough to rival even Pisano's South Doors commissioned on the Florence Baptistery (Which, Aro had to argue, were much more beautiful in their original state; all of this reconstruction nonsense in the recent century turned the importance of history over to economically advantageous tourism.).
Like his door, his large East-facing window was framed with gold plating, and the sill was cushioned in feathered crimson velvet, complete with copper-tasseled throws that matched the pillows on his high-back sofas. Of course, a rich crimson-and-gold decor, classic and sensible (hide the blood stains, naturally). Not to mention, Aro loved to take company in his drawing room as sunrise shone through his window; the glittering skin of his immaculate race reflected marvelously against the sparkling jewels that embellished his side and coffee tables. Indeed, his morning gatherings were a sight to see, impressing still the maids that had been servicing Volterra for years--that is, the lucky few that were neither remarkable enough to be changed, nor negligent enough to be killed after all this time.
There was no need for a bed in a room fit for a being that did not sleep. Although, there was that one time in the early 20th century, when (thanks to Count Dracula) vampire mythologies flooded the rumor mill, Aro had set up a lovely coffin that made a spectacular focal piece for a few decades. Caius got to bugging him about it for some time, so Aro finally acquiesced and had it stored in the basement. Yes, the basement...How could he dispose completely of such a fabulous joke?
So, that was the gist of the room that was Aro's. Ritzy, swanky couches, tables, chairs, area rugs, mirrors and chandeliers, all playing up the gold and crimson fit for a vampire King. And what was Aro presently waiting for in his royal chambers? None other than the company of his delectable (new-ish) Queen, who was running a bit late come to think of it. But, no matter. Time, after all, is not of the essence when one is assured of its limitlessness. Though one does have to wonder what would ever happen if the world came to an end...
It's amazing, how prevalent that fear is in the folds of the human mind. A dateless phobia that Aro discovered countless times to lie dormant or otherwise in many on whom he grazed his hand or teeth. The idea that some great Apocalypse would come and wipe out our Earth, our beautiful spec of dust in this constant universe, was actually something to dwell over? Aro had to muse over the fact of how absurd that fear really is for people, who can only put about one hundred years (tops) on their lifespan, anyhow. But if Aro knew anything, and he certainly did, it was that the ability to rationalize turns almost anyone at some point or another into a remarkably irrational creature, and thus the frailty of the mind. An instrument to which he was granted easy access, and one he learned to personally harness upon witnessing the mistakes of others.
Of course, you thought Aro was always this easy-going yet wonderfully acute vampire? He had his tribulations at one point or another, and had been faced with problems he thought might've had no solution. He'd experienced every single human emotion, ten-fold, and had chosen the path and style to life that he enjoyed above all others. He had to imagine that cold, calculating Caius had done the same, though he knew Marcus was not yet able to overcome the grief that the cards had dealt him. He had been blessed with the gift to recognize relationships, and simultaneously cursed with an almost constant reminder of the powerful love he had lost. Aro had to wonder if he himself had ever loved as wholly as his intuitive and emotional brother. (Or, as close to a brother as a millennium-old vampire with no living relatives could ever get.)
A marvelous grandfather clock facing his doorway chimed midnight, awakening Aro, lost in his pondering, to the fact that Nicolette had not yet come to meet him. He was beginning to wonder if he should, perhaps, call upon Clarinda if she would have him, as Aro was an extremely social creature and did not like to be left in solitude for too long. He found that he would lose himself in pointless meditations (see above) that his thoughts had already covered at some point or another, and he was rarely able to quiet his mind. Too brilliant for his own good!
Though, it didn't take brilliance for Aro to begin drawing the conclusion that Nicolette could've possibly been delayed by matters of the heart...
It wasn't as if Aro felt a tremendous amount of jealousy toward Nathan. Perhaps a small amount, that he of course was able to stifle most of the time. It was simply the matter of the fact that Nathan was blatantly ignoring the Vampire code (murders in his own castle were simply uncalled for! Not to mention the vampire carcass...) and of course the fact that he was much to powerful for anyone else's own good. If he refused to join the Volturi and would continue to run rampant, Aro would have to continue to hunt him. But how he hated to see his darling queen unhappy, and even in all her clever trickery and deception, she had come forward honestly. How could Aro not honor this? And when all of Nix's loyalties, in the end, would lie with the Volturi...How could his own dedication not be to her happiness? Of course, he would not tell her these things, though she must know that if Aro so wished without any hesitations, Nathan could be eliminated. Not without sacrifice, with a gift like his, but he couldn't outpower the strength of the entire Volturi clan. He only had one set of teeth, after all, not dozens. And he had broken the law...Many, in fact...
It was a catch-22 that quite simply made his head ache, so the search was delayed, if only briefly. And right now, he wanted to forget all of this. He wanted to have his damned dance!
ANYTHING ELSE?:
